Clowns and Crows

Ahoy! In a pirate voice…

I am wondering where the week has gone or the summer for that matter. Can I have the week back please?

This week’s theme on Etsy has been clowns and crows. Two of my favourite things. I found that there is a patron Saint of clowns called Saint Genesius and the day of celebration is on August 25. I may have to celebrate on that day and link this in with Etsy.

I would like to introduce you to a new character called Mr Giggles. He dislikes custard pies but is rather fond of BBC Radio Four.

The Uncanny Brothers are back, but just their heads. Got to continue with the macabre theme. These two pieces could be used for Halloween décor or dare I say Christmas decorations. Bit early I know, but can you imagine a Christmas tree covered in clown heads?  It could be a talking point when one has guests over.

I awoke one morning to the sound of several crows having a domestic on a roof top. I never knew this, but crows have their own dialect depending on where they live. What immediately sprang to mind was cockney crows and crows with a Northern accent. Do they get “You’re not from a round here” from other crows. I reckon they do.

Here is Cuthbert in the form of a jester Stick and wall plaque.

I am working on new images for the crows as the pictures need to be clearer.  Unfortunately the weather has turned rather dull and has a utilitarian grey sky in which my camera cannot cope and continues  to refuse to play nice.

I shall now go back to making more clowns, eyeballs, and undead girls………..

You can find these items on Etsy here

Yours from the circus,

Sarah.
