Happy Halloween!
My day started with a very nice surprise as a mystery parcel turned up on our doorstep. Upon opening this surprise was a lovely bundle of Halloween goodies from my sister (who also loves Halloween) and a handmade card wrapped in black ribbon. Thank you sister! You will have a special gift for Christmas. :-)
To celebrate this time of year we go to Sherwood Forest on the Halloween Walk. This year’s walk was a spooktacular theme on horror films. Where amongst a lot of screaming (not from myself I hasten to add) we met zombies, the puppet from Saw and the hooded pigs, the charming girl from the Ring, Zombie Nurses ( one of my favourites), Freddie dear Freddie from Nightmare on Elm Street (thank you for all the nightmares I had as a teenager), Pinhead who rather casually just walked past us, and more Zombies. Right towards the end we meet this fine fellow. Unfortunately in my excitement of meeting a clown and combined with my camera’s limit of taking photographs at night I only managed this picture.
In the grand tradition of carving pumpkins here are our attempts………..
Blegh! This is what happens when you become a pumpkin cannibal!
I hope people out there are having a marvellous Halloween, and remember a clown is not just for Halloween it’s for life.
Yours from the Circus,
Sarah
