I have to admit I really dislike New Years Eve, melancholy and all that. So I wondered should I write a reflective Blog about the past year? Then I thought……..no! I have realised although it is good to reflect upon things, it does not have to be in the New Year.
My University course, which was meant to be part time, has crept more and more into my studio time. I have also had another thing occupying my mind in that I am going to get married this year. I declared that I will not become a Bridezilla. But I have found my attention has been more on bridal wear than on scary demonic clowns and strait jackets. I have also indulged in watching “Don’t tell the bride” and “Bridezilla” . Oh the horror!
I thought I would share some pictures of some work I have created for friends and family and a commission.
This is "Normal" a commission I created for a Freak Show event. She is a hybrid of human and squid. I really enjoyed this project.
Bunny head. Early project as I was making my first tentative steps with Magic Sculpt.
Kitschy Flamingo. Made with resin putty, and the fabric was painted.
Mr Goughy the Bouncing clown, I shall be making lots more of these.
Mr Lime. Another bouncing clown.
Looking forward to the year ahead, hope the people of the internet have an artsy creative year. Mr Lime the Clown recommends that we all need a bit of art in our lives not to mention a bit of madness..
Yours
from the circus,
Sarah.
