Marching into March with an army of clowns................

Well it has been a week of doing a bit of this and a little bit of that. So I thought I would share a weeks progress in the studio. I am experimenting with springs at the moment, all things medical  as well as an exciting commission.

I have been giving myself nightmares by reading some Lovecraft and this has filtered into the studio. Here is a new monster in early stages with some friendly clowns.

I have been making more clowns on springs, because you can never and I mean never have enough clowns on a spring in your life. I just hoping this craze will take off on Etsy. I made a zombie clown who just needs a little bit more love and care. 

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite
jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath bore me on his back a
thousand times, and now how abhorr'd in my imagination it is!
My gorge rises at it.

Gorge rises indeed! Thank you Shakespeare. I have also made a clown who is prone to panic attacks. Although I feel the eyeball popping out on a spring is working I was struggling with the clowns make up. First attempt it was not working. Second attempt still not working.

So I decided to look for some inspiration, I tip my tiny top hat to and say thank you google for finding me this.

So I am ready to give my lovely panicky clown a new look.

I noticed that the clown at the centre looks a bit like the ex Prime Minister John Major. Now theres a thought! Anyhow I am ready to give my lovely panicky clown a new look.

 Did you know that the circus asylum is making its own medication? So if you are feeling a bit blue would you like to try Mr Boos marvellous miracle medicine? You only have to swallow two spoonfuls. Or how about a nice green pill to wash away your anxiety? Here are some ideas in which I hasten to add are in very very early stages. A nice rusty old spoon yum yum!

Stuck on ideas for your garden? How about hanging glow in the dark bats on your tree? It will make all your neighbours green with envy as they gaze at the magnificent, magical, marvellous bats. It beats any water features and will add thousands to your home.
